VAIO M, Netbook Terbaru dari Sony

Sejauh ini Sony telah membuat produk netbook yang berbentuk unik dan mahal seperti VAIO P, atau netbook yang sangat tipis seperti VAIO X. Dan kini Sony kembali menghadirkan netbook terbaru yang bisa disebut berkategori ‘standar’ dan ‘murah’ (semoga bukan murahan) dengan label VAIO M.

Setelah menggelontorkan jajaran netbook aslinya yang bernama VAIO W, kini Sony sepenuhnya membidik segmentasi netbook normal dengan layar standar 10.1-inch. Model anyar netbook Sony ini diberi nama VPC-M11M1E. Tipe ini hadir dalam dua warna standar hitam dan putih. Spesifikasinya pun terbilang sangat standar yaitu menggunakan prosesor Intel Atom N450 dengan kecepatan 1.66 GHz. Memori yang terpasang hanya 1 GB dan menurut isu yang beredar memorinya tidak bisa ditambah alias sudah mentok 1 GB. Netbook dengan berat 1.4 kg ini memiliki hard drive 5400rpm dengan kapasiatas 250 GB. Tidak menutup kemungkian pada varian lainnya, Sony akan mempaketkan hard drive dengan kapasitas lebih besar.

Sekilas, tipe ini memiliki kesamaan fisik dengan seri VAIO W. Bedanya, VAIO M datang dengan layar 10.1-inch LED backlit dengan resolusi 1024 x 600 piksel (bandingkan dengan VAIO W yang memiliki layar sama 10.1-inch tapi resolusinya tinggi 1368 x 768). Dan seperti VAIO W juga, sistem operasi yang digunakan untuk VAIO M adalah Windows 7 Starter Edition. Spesifikasi lainnya adalah Wireless N dan konektivitas Bluetooth, dan Sony Motion Eye webcam, dan tiga buah USB port.

Kabarnya, VAIO M sudah dipaketkan dengan baterai 6-cell yang mampu bertahan hingga 5 jam. Dan diperkirakan netbook teranyar dari Sony ini akan hadir sekitar bulan April 2010 dan akan dibanderol dengan harga 455 dollar US.

VAIO M, Netbook Latest from Sony

So far, Sony has a netbook product in the form of unique and expensive as VAIO P, or a very thin netbook like the VAIO X. And now Sony again presents a new netbook that can be categorized called 'standard' and 'cheap' (hopefully not cheap) with the VAIO label M.

Having poured the ranks of the original netbook called the VAIO W, Sony is now completely shot segmentation normal netbooks with 10.1-inch standard screen. Sony's brand-new model netbooks is named VPC-M11M1E. This type comes in two standard colors of black and white. The specifications were fairly standard that is using Intel Atom N450 processor with a speed of 1.66 GHz. Memory installed and only 1 GB of memory according to the outstanding issues can not be added alias already stuck 1 GB. Netbook weighing 1.4 kg has a 5400rpm hard drive with 250 GB kapasiatas. Does not close the possibility of other variants, Sony will mempaketkan hard drives with larger capacity.



At first glance, this type has a physical similarity with the VAIO series W. The difference, VAIO M comes with the 10.1-inch LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 pixels (compared with a VAIO W which has the same 10.1-inch screen but higher resolution is 1368 x 768). And like the VAIO W also, the operating system used for the VAIO M is Windows 7 Starter Edition. Other specifications are the Wireless N and Bluetooth connectivity, and Sony Motion Eye webcam, and three USB ports.

Reportedly, VAIO M is bundled with 6-cell battery that can last up to 5 hours. And Sony's latest netbook is expected this will be available around April 2010 and will be priced at 455 dollars U.S..
